Check diskspace using "df -h". If /tmp is the problem, you can start in
single-user mode and delete most of what you find in /tmp.

Check /etc/logrotate.conf and uncomment "compress". That way your old log
files will be compressed. After fixing your Slapper vulnerability, you
might want to compress or delete the log files that have already been
rotated.
