Assume you have an RH machine that has several NICs in it
(both legacy, as well as newer ones)

Assume this is a live server that can't be shut off to rip open.

Assume none of the NICs produce any information message (in terms
of their speed and capabilities) upon system startup, or through
    removing/reinserting modules.

What's the best way to find out what the speed of said NICs are (10Mbit, 100Mbit)?
