I have a laptop which I have set-up to get its IP address from local dhcp server. I also use the laptop at home. I also have a dhcp server to hand out IP addresses as well.
The problem I am having is when I work at the office. The laptop will on its own change the ip address from the one supplied from the dhcp server to the one it had from my home network. There appears to no time length when this happens. It is definitely well before the renewal time period. The laptop is running RH7.3 using the default dhcp client program. What is happening and how do I prevent it?
