The first question that comes to my mind is do you have each machine talking directly to the printer or each printer's queue on one box or what? for instance, I have 6 machines sharing an hp5si in my office, a mixture of windows flavors and linux boxes. I setup my primary file server, (the one with a bunch of ram dual processors and a scsi array) to act as the print server even though the printer is attached to the lan via a jetdirect card and can be accessed directly. At least with this setup there is only one box sending print jobs to the printer, one print queue to look at, and you don't have to worry about the printer resources being overtaxed. I am unfamillier with the various printers you have but some additional configuration information might help someone else help you.
