Is it a shelltool which configures the network for me, yes? At the moment, I use ifconfig to change it, but of course the changes do not stick, as soon as I reboot, bam, DHCP settings again. I am not sitting at the Linux machine right now and won't until tomorrow morning, when I have to change the IP. So "man netconfig" should give me enough info to do it, right? ...hopefully ;) Thanx for the help!
