Is there any way to turn off KDE sound notifications? For example - the sounds made when opening and closing windows...?
The obvious way looks like it should be via the KDE Control Panel under Sound > Notifications > KDE Window Manager. There are checkboxes to turn on and off for each of those actions, such as windows opening or closing. But whether the checkboxes are selected or not, the sounds play. I tried upgrading to KDE 3.0 today but that didn't help. Any ideas?
