I am running 3.1.4
I contacted ncftp and this is what they said
"You should be seeing it exit when it receives a hangup signal, like this:

read(0, "", 1) = 0
read(0, "", 1) = 0
read(0, "", 1) = 0
--- SIGHUP (Hangup) ---

We will put a note on the to-do list to see if we can see why it isn't
always doing that.

Has anyone else tried connecting to a site in ncftp, and then just closing
the telnet window? I've upgraded and it still just starts to generate those
read(0, "", 1)                          = 0
read(0, "", 1)                          = 0
over and over and over..
Someone else try it and see if it does it for you also
