You should be able to enter (at any VT console)
Xwrapper :0 -query sun-system-name &
or (if already running X)
Xwrapper :1 -query sun-system-name &
In the first case, you can switch between the X session and the VTs with
Ctrl-Alt-Fn (n = 1-6) and Alt-F7. In the latter case, you can use
Ctrl-Alt-F7 or Ctrl-Alt-F8 to switch between the X display sessions.
