No don't feel bad. It was an oversight, and perhaps I could've been more clear
about it too. I don't know. Everyone assumed the NIC was already up and running and
all I needed was to see it's settings. No one caught the part where I said that I
also needed to CHANGE them. No big deal, it's up and running now. Now I need to
figure out iptables (different thread).
