My SSL certificate is coming due for renewal but I am also in the process of
changing my webserver from a custom compiled Red Hat 6.2 server to a Red Hat
7.2 server using the Red Hat RPMs.

My old server has the following banner:
Server: Apache/1.3.9 Ben-SSL/1.37 (Unix) mod_gzip/1.3.19.1a PHP/4.0.3pl1
mod_frontpage/3.0.4.3

My new one has the following banner:
Server: Apache/1.3.22 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux) mod_ssl/2.8.5 OpenSSL/0.9.6b
DAV/1.0.2 PHP/4.0.6 mod_perl/1.26

Do I need to generate a whole new certificate for the new server or should it
use the old one just fine?

I am worried about all the different format/encodings on certs and don't want
to renew my old one if it turns out I need a totally new one anyway...
