Hi all, I want to install LimeWire for linux on my machine, but it keeps complaining I don't have a VM. So I went to Sun and got the JRE package and installed it. Now LimeWire is still complaining that VM isn't installed.
Here's what I get: Preparing to install... Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive... Configuring the installer for this system's environment... No Java virtual machine could be found from your PATH environment variable. You must install a VM prior to running this program. I have tried to find the VM on my system so I can supply the path, but "find" comes up empty. doing an rpm query shows: jdk-1.3.1_02-fcs anyone? TIA -- David M.
