Hello,
I configure the gdm.conf file in /etc/X11/gdm and comment out the
RebootCommand and HaltCommand (or set them to /bin/false) to prevent users
from shutting down the system. Still, the system will blissfully shutdown.
How do I prevent user initiated shutdowns in GNOME? I had no problems
configuring this in KDE. I do use the KDM session manager.
