I believe you meant to say 19:31:53 minus 7:00 hrs should equal GMT since 
there was no "GMT" in the original posters question.

Just as the timestamp on your email was:

Date: 22 Apr 2002 09:32:54 +0930

which would make it just after midnight GMT.

The timestamps show local time and its offset from GMT/UTC.
