Several people have asked recently about creating new ISO images that
include all of the updated packages, how to regenerate the hdlist files,
etc.

I posted the scripts I use to sort and update the rpm files several days
ago. I've modified and made additions to them, if anyone is interested.
They now update the rpm directories, regenerate the hdlist files, and
create the iso images. All that should be left to do is the burning of
the images to cd.

Rather than one larger script, I broke it into several smaller sections,
which should make it easier on those who might not have a large partition
to maneuver rpms and cd images around. (This allows the updates to be
done a disk at a time, requiring only half the disk space.)

The scripts are:
variables.sh, update_cd1.sh, update_cd2.sh, update_hdlist.sh,
makeimages.sh

variables.sh should be edited to match the paths you want to use. All
variables used by the other scripts are defined in that file. Once the
variables are defined, simply execute the remaining scripts in the
following order:
update_cd1.sh, update_cd2.sh, update_hdlist.sh, makeimages.sh

Between the README and the comments in the scripts, hopefully they will
be simple enough to use.

The scripts are available here:
