I would like to add a new network interface to start up with my machine
(ppp). Right now, I have just added a line to my rc.local file, but I wanted
to have it so that it starts up along with my eth0 interface which came
preconfigured.

Documentation suggests that I can use netcfg to do this, but when I click on
"add interface", I see SLIP, PLIP, Ethernet, Arcnet, Token Ring, and Pocket
(ATP), but no PPP even though everything i've read says it should be there.
Anyhow, I'm happy to do this manually, but not sure how...looks like I have
to create a file /etc/sysconfig/ifcfg-ppp0, but as far as the format of this
file, etc, I have no idea . . .

Any ideas?

Thanks -

Noah
