So, even though the executable is *supposed* to be in the amanda-2.4.2p2-1 
(I'm trying to install it on a Guinness system) package, it's actually in 
the server package.

That's just plain dumb.  Of course, my understading is that the server 
package was only necessary if you were going to run a server/client backup 
operation.  I just wanted it to run locally, for now, and add other 
systems to the mix, later.
