are you running AT&T broadband by chance ? if so make sure your computer name is the first name of the person on the account. I had this same problem with att. After you reset the name on the machine, make sure to unplug the cable modem, leave it off for about 10 seconds, the restart the cable modem, and the computer in that order.
Hope that helps Greg ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sujith K" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, January 02, 2002 4:31 AM Subject: IP forwarding... > > > Hi, > > I have a Linux box which is configured for IP > forawrding, which is connected to cable modem via lan > card & another lan card which serves for my local Lan. > > It was working fine for many months. > > But now I face a new problem, with windows 95 clients, > I am able to browse for some time, suddenly it stops. > If I restart the windows client It starts working > again. > > Can some help me... > > Thanks. > > > > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Send your FREE holiday greetings online! > http://greetings.yahoo.com > > > > _______________________________________________ > Redhat-list mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
