I use a windows based putty's scp client (pscp.exe) for copying files between a Win 98 system and a RHL 7.1 system on the local LAN. However, whenever I try to copy multiple files or a large file from the linux box to the windows system, the linux system hangs, none of the mouse / key combinations remain operational and it has to be forcibly rebooted by switching off the power supply. What could be the possible reasons and the remedies ?
