Those who have been reading the list in the last 15 hours or so will be
aware of a problem in ppp for 7.2 - namely :

in other words its "better" to have the assignment set
to zero or uncoment the condition (or both)
Suffice to say that Netcraft Australia (no relation to the
references to Netcraft/Microsoft which have been posted in the last few
hours) have undertaken a fix. The .rpm may be obtained from
www.netcraft.com.au/rpms/ppp-2.4.1-2nc.i386.rpm
and install it as per a normal rpm -Fvh ..
I can say that this revised rpm corrects the problem of "the call back"
The rpm will be avialable until 0005 Monday 17 Dec UTC
I'd recommend that RH place it into their errata section for 7.2
cheers, Kyle Hargraves
