Let me try to explain. I have been able to upgrade from since RedHat 6.2->7.0->7.1 and have mail work without a problem. Since my upgrade to RedHat 7.2, i have discovered that i can no longer modify the Generics table, access, Virtual User table, or any thing. However, the mail server still works, but breaks once i rebuild with makemap any of the files that require changes. My problem is serious because this box serves mail for around 50 users. If i need to change my virtuser table to add or delete a user, it breaks all my mail (all domains but my blitzen)
A question for people would be, has anyone upgraded to RedHat 7.2 and have their sendmail still working without a problem that host more than one domain for the mail. ? i can send you my virtusertable and generics table ?
