Absolutely. Exactly HOW depends on whether you're using ipchains, iptables, or even earlier releases of the kernel. But in general, you can specify input and output by individual IP or ranges, and by individual ports or ranges. Maybe the best approach is to visit one of the web sites the will build an initial firewall script for you based on your input (one example is http://www.linux-firewall-tools.com/), then sit down with the appropriate firewall HOWTO and man pages and read that script. By the time you're done, you'll have a much better idea how this all hangs together. You'll STILL be back here with some questions, but probably far fewer.
