There was a >problem with the stp driver in the release. >foomatic, ghostscript, printconf, Omni all have updates. This machine was missing a few updates ... fixed that, thank you. I'm still getting mixed results, though. After fiddling with it awhile, I was able to get grayscale out of it, using the omni, stcolor, and stp drivers. When I tried playing with the driver settings to get color working (the "grayscale" option was _not_ selected, by the way), the printer at some point stopped responding completely. It even stopped returning a response to 'escputil -d'. Restarting the printer and the computer eventually got it back, but it's still only grayscale. Here's the output of the probe (verbose licensing info snipped): atlantis:root 500 # escputil -d -r /dev/par0 Copyright 2000 Robert Krawitz ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) @EJL ID MFG:EPSON;CMD:ESCPL2,BDC;MDL:Stylus C80;CLS:PRINTER;DES:EPSON Stylus C80; Confirmed that color works with the win32 drivers. Have you encountered this? What driver are you using, and what option settings?
