They are a series starting with Episode #2 (#1 was simply a political
piece) it is one story and not several individual ones. This episode was
introducing a new character (Nano, for whom the piece is named) and
another character who is not yet named (look carefully at the guy on the
right in the first frame) though he is certainly well known in real
life. It will all make sense in the end and the individual episodes
would make a lot of sense if you were a Soprano's fan.
