Usually it's an ID10T problem. :-) (Myself included! <G>)
Check to make sure you have an ftp server installed.
RedHat comes with wu-ftpd. An rpm-q wu-ftpd should tell you
whether it's installed or not.
BTW, the "ftpusers" file does NOT mean what you might think
it means... it means the OPPOSITE of what it would seem to
mean. I found that out the hard way when trying to install
NCFTPD.:-) Like I said... and ID10T error. ;-)
