Hi All,

I'm getting a really weird error message when partitioning /dev/sda

I had partitioned 3 1 Gig devices in order to be used as raw devices. I
finally decided that would be no good, so I pulled up cfdisk and re
partitioned just those 3, currently unused, devices.

Well the good news is that the rest of my previous partitioned portion of
that Drive is OK. The bad news it that the Kernel cannot read the partition
table.

The error I receive is:

"Wrote partition table, but re-read table failed. Reboot to update table."

So naturally I reboot, and guess what? The newly created device is not
recognized. Oh it is listed in cfdisk fdisk and even sfdisk. But an sfdisk
-R /dev/sda comes back with :

"BLKRRPART: Device or resource busy"

Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

Thanks,

Mark
