I have WP8 running on a box with 6.0 and have no problems
with spell check. If it runs as root do you need to change
permissions on some files. The dictionary files .lex files.
wpus.lex is wp us english. If you have an older version of
word perfect, the one I got came with Word perfect for Linux
Bible. It works great for all my users.
