I have a Compaq Presario 1277 and had a problem with
the graphic installation mode, so when the first

I have a dual installation with win98se and rh7.0
If you can run the text mode nd then have problems
qith the XWindow System, probably you have to edit
your /etc/X11/XF86Config file, where you have two
options 1) Using the SVGA server and declare your
device as a "generic svga" or in the other hand use
the "XF86_FBDev" server and then you can use your
video card....which is a....Trident????
