Hi friends: I have Redhat 6.2, I am configuring proftpd-1.2.0rc3. I configure the anonymous login succesfully with basic.conf including in the program. I can't to enter with login system, and: Feb 8 10:37:06 temuco in.proftpd[1227]: connect from 69.69.96.96 Feb 8 10:37:11 temuco proftpd[1227]: temuco.chilepac.com (temuco.chilepac.com[69.69.96.96]) - PAM(peo): Authentication failure. Feb 8 10:37:11 temuco proftpd[1227]: temuco.chilepac.com (temuco.chilepac.com[69.69.96.96]) - USER peo (Login failed): Incorrect password. Feb 8 10:37:14 temuco proftpd[1227]: temuco.chilepac.com (temuco.chilepac.com[69.69.96.96]) - FTP session closed. I edit the /etc/ftp.d/ftp and it don't function.
