It is not possible to send and recieve a fax on the same phone line at
the same time. Fax machines and fax modems do not work that way. What
you may be able to do, if you have a fax machine as well as the fax
modem, (or two fax modems) is connect the two together, and send from
one to the other. It depends on the exact hardware in the equipment.
Some equipment will work without the voltage from the phone line.
