*nod* I remember ... it's a 2048-bit RSA key, it's self-signed, and I
can't reproduce the error, I'm afraid. I still need to find time to
set up gnupg and try it out. (I seem to recall reading somewhere that
gnupg had trouble with RSA keys.) Thanks for the reminder; I do
