This has been our policy for many years. the procmail filter
for all my pop accounts at our company grabs any executable
attachment and send it to me. It responds to the sender with
a note saying it is an "unapproved attachment" and if this is
in error, mail the postmaster at our site. Well.... you know
what???? In 5 years, nobody has responded because most of
what the filter grabs is just a bunch of crap!!!... Or some
crazed virus wildly generating email!!!... Nothing to do
with our business. Last year I collected about 2Gb of this
stuff... Nobody came looking for any "lost mail".. I wonder
why?
