The next time I booted up Red Hat 7 (with loadlin) after I installed RP8 it
would not complete the boot. Hung on the start of X . The screen would flash
on go blank for 20 seconds then a message would appear about var/run/gdm.pdi
indicated gdm was already running (601). I tried to boot it with the boot
disk and everything is fine. But loadlin booting will always end in the same
event. I have refreshed vmlinz on the dos side but no change. I even removed
RP8 still no change.
Anyone have any ideas?
