s>out should!
You're welcome for the RPMS... so far as the web site goes I'm in the
process of redoing it... again! :-) Gonna hang out the old consulting
shingle again so I need to revamp it a little...
Okay... here's another piece of info... it looks like bind 9 requires
kernel 2.3.99 or above... it wants to run as UID named which is
appropriate... but it is compiled with threads (in the spec file) which
requires 2.3.99 or above so it won't run on 6.x without a kernel
upgrade... I have not investigated to see if it could be compiled
without threads... anyway I don't want to... threads sound like a very
good idea to me... So... I'll have to wait on that box as it's about
2000 miles away from my and I don't wanna screw up a kernel upgrade in
the middle of the night... :-) l8er!

s>s>Excellent let us know how it goes!

s>Alright... I will...
s>
s>Also... anybody wanting bind 9 for 6.x can get a src.rpm and binaries
s>at:
s>
s>http://www.moongroup.com/old/pub/bind-update/
s>
s>The others which fix the CERT security release are there as well.
s>
s>The ones which have rh6 in the version are for 6.x. The others are for
s>7.0.
