OK, here is some new info on my situation. I have been going through the manual
that came with the motherboard and found out how to set the BIOS to boot from the
SCSI device. So now I have the IDE drive connected and linux booting properly. So I
think all I need to do  now is install Win2K on the IDE drive and then boot linux
from the boot floppy I made. When I get back into linux I run /sbin/lilo and that
should install lilo back onto the MBR. Once I'm at this point all should be well
again.

Will this sequence of events work?
