I downloaded: rp8_linux20_libc6_i386_cs1_rpm.html From Real Audio and
attempted to install it. I got a conflict warning with KDE
Multimedia. So, because I didn't use KDE much but rather Gnome, I
deleted KDE basic and KDE multimedia. Well, I never did get Real Player
8 to work with Netscape. It seemed Netscape would not recognize the
Real Player files. So I removed Real Player and tried to reinstall KDE
but even though it appeared to install didn't, and I tried several
times. I am still in the learning and experimental stage with Linux so
I don't have much to lose if I have done big damage. Any suggestions?
Michael
