If you can't find time to read the manuals and come to a basic understanding
of the operating system, give it up and go to windoze. Linux is not for you.
What you need is a box that runs a $200 operating system, crashes thrice a
day, comes with idiotic (not too mention expensive) tech support, and awful
overburdened unstable code (read windoze). Before I ran Linux back when you
had to do some real hacking before everything worked, I read up on Linux and
Unix for two months to make sure I understood everything from filesystems,
partitioning, kernel, mouse support, X window system and how to access a
cdrom. Please, if you are serious about using one of the world's best and
most powerful OS, the least you could do is educate yourself. You'll be a
better person for it!
