Ted, actually using bzdisk did work fine. It created a copy of the kernel on
a floppy disk which I am now booting off of. The only problem is that it
boots with usb errors though the system works fine and since I don't use usb
right now its not too much of a problem I would like to fix the usb problem
and properly install the kernel. From what I read in the Kernel howto the
bzdisk command creates a bzImage file on the system and a copy on the disk.
Could you possibly help me get the new kernel properly installed? I have not
figured this part out yet from the kernel howto.
thanks,
Aaron
