On my system the linuxconf application would not find my network card so I
had to copy the configuration file from another computer and modify it for
my notebook. Don't quote me on the file names, but I believe they are in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts. In this directory (or a similar one if I am
wrong) you will find ifcfg-eth0. You will need to copy this file from a
working system and modify it to contain the proper information for your
notebook or rebuild it manually. After placing this file on your notebook
you should be able to eject the pcmcia card and insert it again. It should
then be identified and activated. NOTE: this does assume you have the pcmcia
utils rpm installed.
