Howdy,

There are a few packages - imap is the one I'm working with, though there are others - 
that are practically devoid of documentation. /usr/doc contains only the barest 
readme, there's no man page, rpm -qi only states what it is and the fact that it came 
form RH, searching on the web turned up nothing, and it's not from www.gnu.org.

Yet it is a standard package with almost all distros - I would have thought there 
would be /tons/ of info on it.

Where do I find information on packages like this (another example is the common 
in.ftpd)? I mean, c'mon - someone, once upon a time, wrote this thing. Who maintains 
it now? I can't even find it on freshmeat.
