Hello:
Quick question. "Non-political too :-)"
I have been trying to through up the RPM's on my networked server plus the
contents fo the /RedHat/base directory on a directory called /usr/RedHat so
that I can do a ftp install of RH 7.0, well no problem there I have the set
up in /usr/RedHat/RPMS and I have /usr/RedHat/base setup. My Cd burner I
believe is hosed as I can not get a good burn from either .iso image. Well I
use the boot image called bootnet.img to allow me to chose ftp install and
when I login and begin the error message on the installer says something to
the effect that the Ramdisk can not be found and it can not proceed. Is
there a certain directory that I need to place ramdisk and where do I find
it. I thought it was part of the bootnet.img. I have tryed to ftp off the
ftp sites but it is just way too slow. It took me 2 days to get the .iso
images. Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance,
Eddie
