Shouldn't the command be:
mount -t nfs rattler:/u1/REDHAT/RedHat-6.2 /mnt/test
Remember, you have to specify the path on the server, since the server might
export several different file systems. And you certainly don't want the
server to export its root filesystem unless you have a _REALLY_ good reason
for it...
