Hi,
Installed Linux on second HD, a 10 Gb Fujitsu on an IBM Pentium III Aptiva.
Had to set the jumper to slave and a second jumper for disks which are not
detected because they are bigger than 2 Gb. Installed Linux RH 6.2. First
install - the boot disk would not boot hdb5 and a full install of 1.3 Gb took
1.5 hrs. Second install took 6.5 hours?? Strange!
X-Windows seems to lose the task bar at the bottom and is extremely slow
compared to my simple Pentium with 200 MHz. What have I done wrong?
