Any ideas what could be causing this problem:

Uncompressing Linux...
ran out of input data
-- System halted
A Spanish-speaking user from Bolivia is experiencing this problem and he
cannot post to the list himself. He already checked fsck and it doesn't
show any errors.
Any ideas?
