hi
i booted into linux aftera long time and suddenly i feel everything has gone
into slow motion...... nothing seems to happen. i ried to mount my cdrom and
kept getting messages like.....atapi reset irq timeout etc... i wanted to
load staroffice 5.2 but couldnt do it at all. i did a tail -f
/var/log/messages and kept getting repeated messages like atapi reset, irq
timed out, something... busy
it kept going on and on?
i am a newbie nd it all seems alien to me. can anybody tell me whats
wrong???
