Go to:

http://www.scyld.com/network/updates.html

and read the info there. The version of tulip driver you have is not
current enough to work with the Linksys cards.  You will be able to
download and compile a proper tulip module for the card from the source
available at the ftp site given on the above page. I did so for my
Linksys card and it now works flawlessly. Give me a shout if you have
any problems.
