No no no... This is all wrong. The wavelan_cs module is not the
PCIC. It's the card module, not the controller module. It doesn't have
any of the card services and stuff.

That being said, you're probably in trouble anyways. I have it
on reliable authority (the Lucent people, who would know) that the PCI
interface card doesn't work with the Linux PCMCIA stuff. They say that
they PCMCIA gang is aware of the problem. They also claim the ISA card
does work.

I ordered both a PCI and an ISA interface card just to test this
out (it's my job). I haven't tested the ISA card yet but I can verify
that the PCI card is NOT recognized by either the TCIC nor the Intel PCIC.

Here is what I have on my PCI bus...

  Bus 0, device 0, function 0:
Host bridge: Intel 82439TX (rev 1).
      Medium devsel. Master Capable. Latency=64.
  Bus 0, device 7, function 0:
ISA bridge: Intel 82371AB PIIX4 ISA (rev 1).
Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. Master Capable. No bursts.
  Bus 0, device 7, function 1:
IDE interface: Intel 82371AB PIIX4 IDE (rev 1).
Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. Master Capable. Latency=64.
      I/O at 0xf000 [0xf001].
  Bus 0, device 7, function 2:
USB Controller: Intel 82371AB PIIX4 USB (rev 1).
Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. IRQ 11. Master Capable. Latency=64.
      I/O at 0x6400 [0x6401].
  Bus 0, device 7, function 3:
    Bridge: Intel 82371AB PIIX4 ACPI (rev 1).
      Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable.
  Bus 0, device 18, function 0:
    Ethernet controller: 3Com 3C900 10b Combo (rev 0).
Medium devsel. IRQ 12. Master Capable. Latency=64. Min Gnt=3.Max Lat=8.

We can eliminate the Ethernet controller, the USB controller, and
the IDE. I also have a video card on that bus. One of the others must
be the PCI/PCMCIA bridge/controller.

Next is testing the ISA board... The PCI is a loss for now.
