Most of the problem is actually the fault of the webpage designers.  They
are trying to cram 400 lbs of crap into a one lb area.  So, they use font
sizes 5 and 6 a lot.  Default font size is 3, with smaller being larger and
6 being the smallest font size.  Also, many sites use the Arial font without
also having Helvetica in the list.  Arial doesn't exist under Unix, unless
you install it.  Until then, Netscape will use Courier, which is extremely
difficult to read at sizes smaller than 3.

You can install Truetype fonts.  I have Verdana (the other font that gets
used by itself a lot) and Arial installed on my Linux box.  But, even then
many pages are hard to read because the idiots use small font sizes.

Large corporations just do not understand and it is extremely difficult
to educate them.
