Just been through this, there is a 2.2.16 kernel update for RedHat 6.2
Get and read:
"Upgrading the Linux Kernel on Red Hat Linux systems"
http://www.redhat.com/support/docs/howto/kernel-upgrade/kernel-upgrade.html
Get the files as described above, the fastest server I have is:
http://rufus.w3.org/linux/RPM/redhat/6.2/updates/i386/KByName.html
I've just been thru the process and that was the easy part for me.
And thanks to all that helped me during a few frustrating days with
getting my kernel patched.
