RH6.2, PII-400, 4 IDE HD, 2 SCSI HD I had a root partition SNAFU, and I would like to mount it under the rescue mode. I booted from CD-ROM and ran "linux rescue", which booted fine, recognizing all my drives. But when I got the bash prompt, the drives are not in /dev. I have used other rescue disks in the past that have automatically created those disk devices for me. How do I add these devices with the RH6.2 rescue mode? Is there an automatic method?
