When I use man, and whatever performs the linewrapping tries
to break a word I get <AD> instead of -
It looks like this:

Sysklogd provides two system utilities which provide
sup<AD>
port for system logging and kernel message trapping.
Sup<AD>
port of both internet and unix domain sockets enables
this
utility package to support both local and remote
logging.

It is obviously not inserting a - since I can see those when
they are part of the text:

SYNOPSIS
       syslogd [ -a socket ] [ -d ] [ -f config file ] [
-h ] [
       -l hostlist ] [ -m interval ] [ -n ] [ -p socket ] [
-r ]
       [ -s domainlist ] [ -v ]

Something is helping me, or at least trying to but I find
this irritating. I am running redhat 6.2, gnome with
enlightenment

I fugure there is a config file somewhere but it is kicking
my ass.
